CCTV 3D channel, how can we watch

With the introduction of new policies by the SARFT, various television stations have also launched new channels of CCTV 3D channels.

The channel is jointly set up by six units including China Central Television, Beijing TV Station, Tianjin TV Station, Shanghai TV Station, Jiangsu TV Station, and Shenzhen TV Station. Each TV station produces 3D TV programs in columns, and is broadcasted by CCTV, using satellite channels for encrypted transmission. It is transmitted through the basic channels of cable digital television networks throughout the country. Users with cable digital high-definition set-top boxes and 3D TVs can watch stereoscopic TV programs.

To watch 3D channels, users need to meet two hardware devices: a 3D TV or an all-in-one, an HD set-top box. If users want to watch 3D channels, they can only purchase HD set-top boxes from local cable operators. At present, the vast majority of users in the country do not have HD set-top boxes, and more than 80% of users still cannot see 3D programs.

According to the deployment of SARFT, China's 3D TV test channel started broadcasting on January 1, 2012. The broadcast time is broadcast on a daily basis, broadcast for the first time in four or five hours, and replayed twice a day for a total of 13.5 hours.
